About Sarah Strohan, R.TCMP (she/her)
I graduated from the Traditional Chinese Medicine program at Pacific Rim College in Victoria, BC, where I trained in acupuncture, cupping, tui na massage, gua sha, moxibustion, and Chinese herbal medicine.
In addition to my foundational TCM training, I’ve studied a variety of acupuncture styles, including Tan Balance Method, Global Balance, and Five Element acupuncture. Drawing from these approaches, I create personalized treatments tailored to each individual.
I believe our physical, emotional, and mental health are deeply interconnected. My work is about supporting you in all of these areas—whether you’re navigating pain, stress, or simply seeking to feel more grounded. At the heart of my practice is holding space for your body to heal and helping you reconnect with your natural balance.
How I work
I practice through a lens rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. My treatments often combine acupuncture, acupressure, craniosacral holds, and facial release. This is a blend designed to invite deep relaxation, restore your natural flow, and support your nervous system in self-regulating.
Alongside acupuncture and hands-on treatments, I can offer guided meditations to help you reconnect with yourself on a deeper level while on the table. Together, we can explore techniques to regulate your nervous system, cultivate a creative practice, move through challenging emotions or heighten your intuition. You’re also welcome to simply come, receive treatment and relax.
I’m a lifelong learner, continually seeking out new teachings and perspectives. Over the years, I’ve trained in a wide range of healing modalities under the guidance of many incredible teachers — each one adding to the work I offer today.

Acupuncture is a healing practice rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine that involves gently inserting fine, sterile needles into specific points on the body to restore balance, relieve pain, and support the body’s natural ability to heal. It works by regulating the flow of energy, or Qi, through pathways called meridians, helping to address physical, emotional, and energetic imbalances.

Fire cupping is an ancient therapy where glass cups are briefly heated with a flame and placed on the skin to create suction. This gentle vacuum helps increase circulation, release muscle tension, draw out stagnation, and support the body’s natural detoxification process. It’s often used to relieve pain, stress, and promote overall healing.

This style of bodywork weaves together acupressure, cranial sacral holds and energetic awareness to gently support the body’s natural ability to unwind and restore balance. Using mindful touch and intuitive connection, it helps release tension, calm the nervous system, and realign the body’s subtle energy flow.
